Our central idea

We believe that learning and creating music is an important part of social education, it can promote emotional growth, the development of intelligence and has a positive effect on self-expression.

Our lesson plans have been designed to support our students in their personal growth, taking into account their physical, psychological and emotional needs and are meant to shape and guide our young musicians and help them understand the basic principles of making music without missing out of the fun that is creating music.

Principles of teaching and learning

The language of music

Our music courses should challenge and encourage our students while learning music, among other things, musical performances, ear training, musical collaboration and creation are important parts of our classes. Children between the ages of three and six, in particular, experience more rapid development of their hearing ability while learning music, which can be important for further music training or language learning. In addition, this age range is of great importance for the development of musical skills, so special attention should be paid to maintaining and promoting the children.

The curriculum deals with music theory, music training and music education and is meant to have a positive effect on physical coordination and social skills, as well as benefit one’s health.

Small group courses

The lesson plan consists of a variety of musical activities and aims to impart fundamental musical knowledge in an interesting and fun way. It is important to us to create a pleasant learning atmosphere and to offer a multidimensional and complete training in music theory and practical music making (learning to play instruments) in order to improve the musical sensitivity and the creative and analytical skills of the students. The most important thing is to stimulate the interest of the students and to promote their artistic potential and talent.

Creative skills

For us it is important that our students understand the rules and the system of music, but at the same time their creativity and imagination should be encouraged from the beginning. Realizing ideas and allowing musical freedom are, in our opinion, one of the main points of a good music education, therefore composition, improvisation and arrangement, regardless of whether for beginners or advanced students, are integral parts of our curriculum.
